Through correspondence, religious resources, and pastoral support, the Fellowship makes thoughtful religious engagement available to those whose circumstances limit access to community and religious materials.
A Good Name
A Hákonarætt Study in Wisdom, Responsibility & Renewal
A Good Name is a twenty-study formation workbook developed by Hákonarætt Fellowship for use in correctional and reentry settings. Drawing upon the Hávamál, Old Norse sagas, and related historical sources, the program explores wisdom, responsibility, self-command, justice, reconciliation, reputation, and the work of building a worthy life.
The workbook is designed to encourage serious reflection on past choices, present responsibilities, and the kind of name a person will carry forward through the life they build.

Correspondence
Religious correspondence with incarcerated individuals seeking guidance, encouragement, or deeper study of the tradition.

Support for individuals seeking to develop a disciplined and responsible religious life while incarcerated.
A Ministry of the Fellowship
Prison Ministry is part of Hákonarætt Fellowship's broader mission to preserve, teach, and carry forward the Old Norse tradition. It is distinct from Hákonarætt Institute of Eddic Studies (HIES). Educational resources provided through Prison Ministry do not by themselves constitute enrollment in an HIES academic program or result in academic credit.
